Nativity

We knew Emmie would be excited about the nativity. She knows the story of Jesus' birth and loves playing with the little peoples nativity that mimi has. I am so glad we recorded this...I love her reaction! It is not the best quality since I didn't use our video camera, but still precious!

Christmas!

We are so excited about Christmas. Emmie is really getting into it this year. She loves going to look at Christmas lights and loves pointing out all the snowmen, santa clauses and shampoos (what she calls Winnie the Pooh). She loves singing Christmas songs (her favorite is Jingle Bells). She loves to read the story of Jesus birth. And has no problem telling us what she wants for Christmas (which is almost everything!)

Vacation part 5

After leaving the Gossmann's we headed to San Marcos to have dinner with one of my college roomies and meet little boy! He is such a cutie!

Vacation part 4-Happy birthday Emmie

After the zoo we got to go to our great friends the Gossmann's house! We have not gotten to see them much since they moved, so it was great to visit and catch up! It was Emery's birthday that day, so we got a cake for her!

After Round Rock we went up to Waco to go the zoo. We loved it. It was pretty empty and almost felt like we had the whole zoo to ourselves.

Vacation Part 1

We took a vacation in July and got to go and stay in Round Rock. One of the things we did while there was go to a local water park. It was so fun! Emmie had a great time! Thanks Richards for having us!!

Sea World

In May we took the youth group to praise wave at Sea World. We took Emmie with us not know how she would do. She did absolutely wonderful! She did not have a nap until 8pm, but was not cranky one bit the entire time! I couldn't believe it. She fell asleep right when Jars of Clay started performing. They turned the lights down and she was out!

She had so much fun watching the whales and dolphins and loved the music! She danced, she lifted her hands, she clapped, she sang along. It was so cute!

Can't wait to take her again!

I love this little girl!!!

Today my sweet little girl turns 2!!! I really can't believe she is this big already!

She has been such a blessing to us and we just love her so so much!
She is such a smartie and amazes us everyday with the things that she learns.

She has started learning her ABC's and will readily point to letters she knows. She also knows most of her colors (although her favorite color is blue so that one sometimes overshadows others!)

She knows her animals! She can sign a lot of her favorites and make noises to them. She loves watching or reading about any kind of animal.

She is speaking so good and is talking in sentences. She does very good communicating. My favorite of course is her saying I love you! It is just the sweetest thing when she walks up, wraps her arms around you and says I love you! Melts my heart.

She is definitely daddy's girl and loves her baseball and longhorns! She loves watching daddy play softball or just curling up with him and watching baseball on tv (which has been happening a lot around here lately with the College World Series)

She is full of energy and happiness. She is constantly making us smile and laugh!

What can I say we just love this girl so much!!!
