24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Leftover Christmas lunch

Father we bless You and thank You for Emery. We thank You for the gift that she is and we just speak Your blessing on her. Right now we claim her for the Kingdom of God. We pray that everyday of her life, she live in purity and devotion to You. We ask You Lord that for her whole life she know You, walk with You, know Your Spirit and move in things of the Spirit, even from little ages. Lord we thank You for Your calling on her life. We thank You for bringing her as a gift to Ryan and Marissa. We pray for Your wisdom for them, that they may train her up in the way that she should go, so that when she is old she would never depart from it and we pray for Emery that she would never know one day away from you Lord. We pray that every day of her life she would be seeking You; that her testimony when she is old and gray would be that, “I’ve known the Lord my whole life. I’ve walked with Him everyday of my life.” We dedicate her to that and we bless her to walk in that way. We ask You to bless Ryan and Marissa as they train and raise her up.

Growing so fast!

Well a lot has been going on lately! Emmie had her first kiss a couple of weeks ago from her good friend Landon (daddy has told her no more kisses!) and she rolled over for the first time. After much trying to get it on video; I finally was able to capture the moment! Enjoy!

Ok, it has been quite sometime since I have put up anything new so I am going to try and catch up over the next few days!

We got to visit with our good friends Greg, Colleen and Adom when they were down a few weeks ago! Here is a pic of Adom and Emmie!

Well it has been a busy but mostly uneventful couple of weeks.

Em has started laughing this week, which has been so much fun! We have not been able to catch her laughing on video yet but as soon as we do I will post it! It is such an adorable laugh.

I am so excited about this weekend. My big brother is coming to visit! It should be a wonderful weekend!

Two Month Doctor Appointment

Emmie had her two month doctor's appointment on Monday. She now weighs 12 lbs 2 oz and is 23.5 inches long! She is growing like a weed! She also had to have her two months shots (3 shots and one drink). I was not prepared for how hard this would be for me. I knew she would cry but nothing can prepare you for the heartache you feel when your little one is screaming her head off in pain. Praise the Lord she did not cry for long and fell asleep on the way home. Needless to say I told Ryan he can take her for her next shots!

On another note here are some more pics of our little girl. This is one of the first dresses we bought for her when we found out we were having a girl...it finally fits!

This last weekend we got to visit with our great friends Jeff and Kelli! It was so much fun. We really miss them but take joy in the new things God is doing in their lives! We love you guys!

Officially a Stay at Home Mom!!

For those of you who haven't heard, Ryan got a new job! He is now working for Lincare, a medical equipment company. Our friend Robert has been working here in the Kerrville office, but is transferring back to San Antonio. Ryan is taking over his position here. This has been such a blessing to us. It has enabled me to stay at home with Em which is something that Ryan and I have been praying about for quite some time. It has been the desire of both of our hearts for me to stay at home with our children and it has been so awesome to see God move to enable this to happen!
